Our team at Brasserie Sixty6 were delighted to recently celebrate our restaurants 8th Birthday! Throughout the past eight years we have enjoyed huge success and we are immensely proud to have stood the test of time while also building up a fantastic, loyal customer base.

Brasserie Sixty6 came to life during the Irish boom in 2005, landing itself in the eventful and popular destination of Georges Street, Dublin. From the beginning, our goal was to become a well known and established restaurant, through offering delicious, homely and varied dishes, with the finest Irish produce at affordable prices.  Eight years down the road, we believe we have achieved just that, but no success story ever comes to light without hard work and the determination to achieve great things.

Three years ago, the now renowned restaurant ‘Rustic Stone’, opened its doors just a few short steps away from Brasserie Sixty6. With both restaurants under the same ownership, it made perfect sense to introduce Rustic Stone’s Chef Proprietor, Dylan McGrath, to Brasserie Sixty6. Dylan was delighted to come on board on a consultation basis and now, three years on, the restaurant is doing better than ever!

As soon as he was introduced to Brasserie Sixty6 three years ago, Dylan noticed the restaurants potential. He began a restructure to bring an already fantastic restaurant up to another level in terms of its menu and service. Everyday is a new step taken in bringing Brasserie Sixty6 to its full potential, with Dylan believing that the restaurant is vastly becoming an important landmark on the Irish restaurant scene.

Situated in a prime location, Brasserie Sixty6 offers a spacious and attractive setting. We strive to offer our customers a unique experience every time. Upon entry, new customers often admire our decorative feature wall to the left, which displays a large antique collection of plates. Our interior boasts unique pieces of art, complimented by intimate lighting and high ceilings. There are two, long-running sides to our restaurant, each with a bar to add to the atmosphere. We have an open kitchen which runs along the back of our restaurant where diners can watch our chefs in action.

At Brasserie Sixty6 we believe that great food brings great enjoyment and with that, we offer an indulging, delicious, hearty and diverse menu, made with the best produce our county has to offer, along with a sophisticated drinks menu. Our pride and joy in Brasserie Sixty6 and a favourite amongst our diners, is our open Rotisserie Oven, which allows us to offer flavoursome and extra succulent meats on our menu. Its visible location in the middle of our restaurant means you can enjoy the novelty of watching your chosen dish cook while enjoying the surrounding ambience.

We pride ourselves on being the ultimate venue for any occasion! Our restaurant reaches 350-400 covers per night and we have a capacity of 220. Our classic, chic, and sophisticated venue creates an atmospheric setting for the most stylish of parties. Hire an area in our restaurant and you are guaranteed an entertaining night, whether it’s a Birthday party, hen or stag, or corporate event, we promise to meet your needs, with our tasty cocktails, appetising food, funky bars and our outside heated area – you can even spit roast a suckling pig for all your guests to enjoy- what a treat!

We are preparing to develop Brasserie Sixty6 in the coming months, with new concepts, recipes and exterior. To celebrate our eight year milestone, we have recently spent time re-designing some aspects of our restaurant already. We now have a brand new stylish website, which matches the colour tone of our interior and menus, and with a new logo, new head chef, and new and exciting plans for the future, we are looking ahead to a hopeful 2014 – so watch this space!

We take great delight in knowing that Brasserie Sixty6 stands amongst the very best that Dublin’s dining has to offer and we could not have reached this goal without the fantastic input from Dylan McGrath, our loyal customers, and our fantastic staff. For Brasserie Sixty6, it’s only upwards from here!
