February 13, 2016
Our friends over in www.LeglessInDublin.com came to visit us and wrote a few words about their experience. Brasserie Sixty6 has and always will be a fully wheelchair accessible restaurant and are very thankful for this lovely write up!

“Brasserie sixty6 is one of my reliable lunch spots. For €10, you can get a really delicious and filling meal. I recently indulged in their confit of duck leg with an asparagus, pea and chervil risotto and didn’t stop talking about it for two days. It was hella good. Located on Georges Street, it’s a nifty meeting spot and the fact that it’s wheelchair accessible means that it’s an all-round winner.
What has it got?
Seating: All of the tables have moveable chairs (no arm rests) and some tables have fixed benches against the wall. The tables are at a good height for a wheelchair.
Doors: The front doors are a little heavy to open.
Ground: Wooden floors.
Stairs: The ground floor is all flat. The ladies and gents are downstairs.
Bathrooms: They have a wheelchair accessible bathroom and it measures approximately 65 x 55in.
Spaciousness: There is space between all of the tables so you have a clear route from front to back. However, if it is very busy, you will have to ask people to pull in their chairs to pass through.
Helpfulness of Staff: The staff here are very helpful and will make sure you get a suitable table. When you are booking over the phone, make sure to mention any needs that you have.
Parking: There is street wheelchair parking available on Dame Court and Drury Street. There is also wheelchair parking available in Drury Street Car Park.
Rating: 10/10
Why did it lose points? It didn’t! Brasserie sixty6 tops my list of accessible restaurants because the food is always good and affordable, it’s easy to get to and it’s a grand place to catch up with mates. “
